We'll begin by learning about the building's history as we admire the beauty of Hagia Sophia from the outside. Its four minarets and dome, more than 98 ft (30 meters) in diameter, have become one of the emblems of Istanbul.
As we enter Hagia Sophia, we'll continue to discover how a Greek Orthodox church was converted into a mosque in the mid-15th century. Later, it was then transformed into a museum, only to become a mosque again in 2020!
