Guided Bus Tour
In this tour we'll visit the most emblematic places in Istanbul, including Topkapi Palace, a symbol of the power of Constantinople, having served as headquarters of the Ottoman empire.
Guided Bus Tour
At 9 am, we'll pick you up right from your hotel, ready for our Turkish adventure. In the first part of the tour, we'll explore Istanbul by bus to get an overarching view of both the modern and historic parts of the city.
Our first stop is the country's most famous street, İstiklal Avenue (Independence Avenue), where you'll have plenty of free time to wander and explore. Then, we'll head to the Sultanahmet district, one of the city's most beautiful areas.
Around midday, we'll stop for lunch at a traditional Turkish restaurant. The menu will include soup or a cold appetiser, börek (a savoury filled pastry), chicken kebab, meat or vegetables with rice, and baklava or fruit.
After eating, we'll visit Topkapi Palace, the best reflection of Istanbul's imperial age and an important symbol of Constantinople's prominence as the capital of the Ottoman empire.
We'll see the various parts of the palace, like the kitchens, armory, religious relics and treasures, learning about its history and discovering all of its particularities. Access to The Harem is not included.
Our journey will end at the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and most incredible markets in the world. At the end of the 19th century, it had more than 4,300 stores and 2,200 workshops. The bazaar has a similar number of vendors today, with the addition of restaurants, cafés and banks.
Topkapi Palace & the Grand Bazaar
The government does occasional renovations of Topkapi Palace throughout the year, so certain sections may be closed during your visit.
The Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays, October 29 and on Muslim holidays.
